RENEE DAGHER
With over 25 years of professional legal experience, Renee Dagher is highly esteemed immigration lawyer who specializes in employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions and labor certification filings to assist corporations, individuals, and educational institutions in filling their international staffing requirements. She also works alongside families, preparing and filing successful immigrant petitions, immigrant waivers, and naturalization applications. Ms. Dagher has expertise in working with all immigration related government agencies including the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of State.
Ms. Dagher has served as the founding member of two law firms; Dagher Immigration Law (2004) and Dagher Khraizat Immigration Law Group (2015). Prior to opening her own firm, she practiced for ten years with a southeastern Michigan immigration law firm, and her focus was on employment-based immigration, family immigration, and removal defense.
Ms. Dagher earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit, School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in International Relations. While completing her law degree, Ms. Dagher worked first as in intern and then as an attorney at the Archdiocese of Detroit in their Immigration and Refugee Resettlement Departments. She is highly regarded with the immigrant communities for her contributions and leadership with civic organizations. She has earned a reputation among her clients and colleagues as a results-driven attorney, who assists her clients in identifying their overall immigrations goals and in developing long-term plans to achieve those goals.
Ms. Dagher is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, The American Civil Liberties Union and admitted to practice before the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She participates in the lobbying efforts of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in Washington D.C. to bring her clients’ stories to life for the U.S. Congress in seeking better legal outcomes for immigrants. She frequently attends local and national conferences to stay abreast of our ever-changing immigration legal system.
